‘In furore’ is one of twelve solo motets written by Vivaldi which have come down to us, though he undoubtably wrote many such pieces. The Vesper psalm ‘Laudate pueri’ was written for an exceptionally agile voice and demands an unusually extended range. Three ‘sacred’ instrumental concertos complete this recording.
